The sun was shining last week when the Sammamish Farmers Market opened for its 10th annual season.
More than 2,500 people wondered through, Sammamish Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Deb Sogge estimated.
The Creekside Elementary Marimba band kicked off the festivities with several performances.
The farmers market runs every Wednesday through September 20 from 4-8 p.m. in the Sammamish Commons at Sammamish City Hall, 801 228th SE.
