A Sammamish motorcyclist died after a collision involving a Microsoft Connector bus Friday afternoon.

According to the Redmond Police Department’s Twitter page, the motorcyclist died on the scene at 188th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 76th Street — near the new Costco construction site in Redmond.

The collision happened around 4 p.m., closing both 188th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 76th Street.

Redmond police also posted on Twitter that there were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.
