Tom Harman and Lloyd Warren were sworn into office at the Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District board of commissioners meeting Jan. 3.

Commissioners are elected to six-year terms on a rotating schedule by the voters within the district’s boundaries.

The commissioners also elected officers to serve in 2012. Harman was elected president, Bob Brady will serve as vice president and Mary Shustov was elected secretary. The district commission consists of five board members: Robert Abbott, Brady, Harman, Shustov and Warren.

The district board meets the first, second and third Mondays of the month at 3 p.m. at the district headquarters, 1510 228th Ave. SE in Sammamish.
