Sammamish police arrested an 18-year-old Sammamish high-school student around noon Tuesday for suspicion of shooting a BB gun at two vehicles Sunday.
The cars were traveling on Sahalee Way shortly after noon.
One of the drivers, Tracey Kerlee, told KOMO News she had two younger children strapped in the back seat and was driving her older son to football practice.
Another driver told the news organization he had his newborn daughter and 5-year-old daughter in his vehicle when BB shattered the driver’s side window of his SUV.
Jessica Sullivan of the Sammamish Police Department said the suspect, an Eastlake High School student, had stayed at his friend’s house the previous night and was still visiting. She said the suspect was booked into the Issaquah Jail for reckless endangerment.
Nobody was injured during Sunday’s incident.
