It’s that time of year to help the Sammamish Police Department and the United States Marines bring a little holiday joy to kids who otherwise may have none.

People are currently invited to drop off new, unwrapped toys in front of the Sammamish Police Department offices inside City Hall, through Dec. 10.

All donations will be collected from the department Dec. 11. All donations benefit “Toys for Tots,” a program of the Marines that has been collecting toys for distribution to needy kids across the country since 1995.
