SAMMI Awards Foundation, in partnership with artEAST Art Center, is seeking artwork for the 2013 SAMMI Awards Volunteer Recognition Celebration.
Artists who reside in the Greater Seattle Eastside are invited to submit original 2D artwork created between 2011 to present. Artworks should have a strong visual quality that can be used to set the design themes and color tones for the Volunteer Recognition Celebration.
The deadline for submission is Jan. 22.

Artwork should reflect aspects of Sammamish, whether it relates to the community, values of volunteering or nature.
The winning artist will receive a $250 cash prize and the winning artwork will be featured prominently in marketing materials. The top 10 selections overall will be featured in a Preview Reception and at the Volunteer Recognition Celebration showcasing the art on March 15.
