The SAMMI Awards of Distinction will be held this Saturday night.
From 7 p.m. at the Mary Queen of Peace Church, 1121 228th Avenue SE, the Plateau community will recognize the efforts of those unheralded locals who do their best to make Sammamish a great place to live.
Hosted by radio personality Chris Cashman, the 9th annual SAMMIs will be a night of inspiration, an invigorating blast of good news and great stories about excellent Sammamish residents doing excellent things.
There will be light refreshments, information about all the nominees, as well as displays from nonprofit groups in the area.
