Sheriff’s Office seeks help identifying deceased Jane Doe

The body was found near Manzanita Beach on Vashon Island Friday afternoon.

Detectives with the King County Sheriff’s Office are seeking help identifying a woman whose body was found near Vashon Island.

A man boating near Manzanita Beach reported a body in the water Friday afternoon, after rowing to a neighbor’s house to call 911.

Detectives describe the woman as being likely in her 40s, of Asian or Caucasian descent, 5-foot-1-inch, 120 pounds with no tattoos. Based on greying roots, she dyed her hair brown. She was missing two teeth to the side of her upper front teeth.

The body was found wearing an 89th and Madison-brand black sweater, a white-and-pink striped dress, a Lamour black jacket, one grey glove, a Carriage-brand gold face watch with brown leather band and a red hair band used as a bracelet.
