The Skyline construction project is finally underway.

Permits for the renovation were granted from the City of Sammamish on Tuesday afternoon.

Construction crews have started the demolition work and planned to start paving the parking lot on Wednesday.

Capital Projects Director Steve Crawford said that the hope was to have the parking lot paving finished in time for tonight’s game.

The construction project has been on hold since the summer months, when the city of Sammamish put a stop work order on Skyline. The district and the city have spent the last few months working on getting all the permits together.
