Lisa Hechtman, the principal at Skyline High School for the past seven years, has accepted an offer to serve as the next executive director of personnel for the Issaquah School District.

In a letter to parents she said she was making the move to “accept the broader challenge of supporting staff across the district for the benefit of all students in the ISD. It has truly been my privilege to serve as your principal, and I look forward to continued great achievement at Skyline.”

The district will post the open position and begin conducting interviews in May. It hopes to introduce the next Skyline principal by the end of June.
