UNWANTED GUEST: A man was causing trouble at a location in the 1000 block of 7th Ave. NW at 3:33 p.m. It was reported that he was threatening staff and loitering on the property.
FREQUENT FRAUD: A woman living in the 1900 block of 24th Ave. NE told police at 4:51 p.m. that she has had several fraudulent ATM withdrawals from her Bank of America account between April and October 2016. Bank of America requested a police report.
Dec. 31
NEW YEAR’S EVE PRE-GAMING: An anonymous caller reported a possible DUI driver at 3:52 p.m. Police went to the driver’s address in the 4700 block of 192nd Place SE and observed the vehicle in the driveway. Police observed that it was raining outside and the ground underneath the vehicle was dry, suggesting that the vehicle had not moved for some time.
Jan. 1
BASIC PROBLEM: A loud noise coming from a bass was reported at 4:37 a.m. in the 22900 block of SE 53rd St. Police were unable to find the source.
HANGING OUT WITH BUDDY THE ELF: Juveniles were reported to be causing trouble with snowballs in the 900 block of NE High St. at 1:30 p.m. When police arrived, they did not see the juveniles, but they did see where snowballs had been made on the bridge. Police drove by later in the day and did not see that the juveniles had returned.
Jan. 2
CITIZEN ASSIST: At 10:39 p.m., police assisted a female in the 6100 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway SE with finding a place to stay for the night where she would be safe. Police gave the woman a courtesy transport to the Issaquah Police Department, where a mobile crisis team came to meet her.
Jan. 3
A POST-CHRISTMAS STORY: A man called police at 10:32 a.m. from the 100 block of E. Sunset Way to ask if police could dispose of his son’s BB gun. Officers told him that this would not be possible, but advised the man to look into giving it to a secondhand store.
ANYONE MISSING A CHRISTMAS GIFT: A Starbucks gift card was found at 2:35 p.m. in the 100 block of W. Sunset Way. Police gave it to the management of the Starbucks in the 700 block of NW Gilman Blvd.
ASSAULT: An assault possibly took place in the 5400 block of 236th Place SE at 6:55 p.m. A caller reported hearing swearing, yelling and a noise that sounded as though something had been thrown against a wall.
HAD A SLIGHT ACCIDENT: Police were approached by a subject while patrolling the 1000 block of NW Gilman Blvd. at 8:44 p.m. The man was not wearing shoes and was shaking. Additionally, his pants were wet. Police observed that he seemed to be quite upset.
Jan. 4
COFFEES AND CONFLICT: At 11:51 a.m., two customers at a cafe in the 1800 block of 10th Ave. NW had a dispute about the order of people being served at the cafe. They went their separate ways before police arrival, and no violence or any crimes occurred.
FROZEN: A group of juveniles was reported to be playing on the ice at the retention pond on Northeast Discovery Drive at 4:26 p.m. The juveniles were no longer there when police arrived.
VERY FRAGRANT THIEF: A woman living in the 5000 block of NW Village Park Drive reported a theft from her locked mailbox at 5:12 p.m. When she went to get a package from her mailbox, she found that two deodorants she had ordered were missing from the package. Police observed no damage to the mailbox.
FROSTBITE RISK: A welfare check was requested for a subject wandering around Northwest Oakcrest Drive and Newport Way Northwest at 7:01 p.m. Police located the subject, who was wearing open-toed shoes in 20 degree weather. She appeared confused and was not able to tell officers her birthday. Police brought her to her caretaker.

ALIEN ABDUCTION: A resident of the 600 block of SW Ellerwood St. reported at 2:53 a.m. that someone had shone a flashlight in their bedroom. Police surveyed the area but found nothing suspicious.
