According to the Seattle Times, the homeless encampment will be able to stay at Hans Jensen for 20 days. The campground is east of the boat launch, on the other side of East Lake Sammamish Parkway.
Tent City 4 had been at the church for 90 days. It had to leave when Sammamish would not extend its stay.
Gov. Bob Ferguson says federal funds are needed to address $34 million in damage caused by the storm, and that the state will appeal.
