Upset parent?: A very vocal male entered the Issaquah School District’s administration building twice in the week and vented at the front desk receptionist.

Not very discreet: Two people were found having sex at the Issaquah Highlands Park and Ride. The subjects were told to leave and they complied.

Brass knuckles: A woman believed that she found a set of brass knuckles in the gym of her apartment complex in the 18300 block of Southeast Newport Way. Police took possession of the item and will use it as a training tool for educational purposes.

Dine and dash: An officer responded to the 1400 block of Northwest Sammamish Road on a report of a dine and dash. The caller stated that the vehicle had left the area heading west and provided a license plate that was wrong.

Again?: An officer responded to a complaint of possible sexual activity in the Issaquah Highlands Park and Ride. The occupants of the vehicle were given a warning and told to move along.

When will they learn?: An officer responded to a report of a dog in a car parked in the sun in the 1800 block of 10th Avenue Northwest. All the windows were rolled up, but the dog was not in distress at that time. The officer waited for the owner’s arrival, about 10 minutes later. The owner was counseled about leaving the dog in the car.

Shots heard: Police were called after complainant heard 10 gun shots all in a row in the 1200 block of Front Street South. The caller believed that the sound was north of his residence. Dispatch received one additional call about the gunshots. Officers checked the area with negative results.

No español: An officer responded to a complaint from a man in the lobby of the police department who stated that the Issaquah Valley Middle School had an electric message board that was in Spanish and he did not appreciate it because this is America and the sign should be in English.

Not drunk: An officer was called regarding a vehicle the reporting party had followed into town. As the vehicle parked in the 100 block of Front Street South, the driver exited and vomited. The caller felt that perhaps the driver was impaired. The subject was sick and called for a ride.
