This weekend: Explore Soaring Eagle Park’s trails with Randy Jackson

The tour will follow the park's trails while aiming to provide information on the 640-acre county park.

Former Sammamish Parks Commissioner Randy Jackson will lead a tour of Soaring Eagle Park on Saturday. The tour will follow the park’s trails while aiming to provide information on the 640-acre county park.

According to a media release from the City: “Jackson knows this park like the back of his hand and he will explain (its) features and some of the park’s history, and will show us how to interpret the maps that mark every one of the park’s many trail intersections.”

Participants must register on the Sammamish city website and will meet at 10 a.m. in the Beaver Lake Preserve parking lot. The lot is located one mile north of the beginning of West Beaver Lake Drive from Southeast 24th Street. Detailed directions can be found on the Sammamish Walks website.
