Issaquah city staff will take public input on potential improvements to Central Park at a meeting 5:30 p.m. tonight, Oct. 12 in Tibbetts Creek Manor.
In 2013, voters approved a $10 million bond to fund improvements to properties operated by the Parks and Recreation department. In September, the department reopened Julius Boehm Pool after a nearly yearlong $5 million renovation.
More than $1.5 million of bond money has been earmarked to install artificial turf and lighting in one of two portions of Central Park, located in the southern Issaquah Highlands off of 24th Avenue Northeast.
Tibbetts Creek Manor is located at 750 17th Ave. N.W.
