State legislators from the 5th district are planning open houses for Maple Valley, Issaquah and Sammamish March 12.
Sen. Cheryl Pflug and Reps. Jay Rodne and Glenn Anderson plan to attend the roundtable, where residents can ask questions.
Residents will also receive an update on the 2011 legislative session. The state faces a potential $5 billion deficit.
“I’m looking forward to hearing what people have to say on the issues facing our communities,” said Rodne, R-North Bend. “So many important decisions will be made this legislative session and town hall meetings offer a great opportunity for an exchange of ideas and solutions.”
