Two Issaquah educators have received grants from The East-King School Retirees’ Association. Jane Brammer requested money to purchase “Reading Like a Writer” mentor texts at Issaquah Valley Elementary School. Colleen Maher, who teaches at Pine Lake Middle School, was awarded a grant to purchase sensory devices for special needs students.
