The City of Sammamish is delighted to be able to offer several community events this year.

Teen Fest, the Fourth on the Plateau, weekly concerts, and the City’s 10th Birthday Party, will all provide great opportunities for the people of Sammamish to get out and meet their new friends and neighbors.

None of these events can happen without the help of volunteers.

Teen Fest – Friday June 19, 1-9 p.m. at City Hall. Teen Fest is sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club. Join 1000 of our best and brightest teens as they kick off the start of the summer.

Skateboard Competition Volunteers are needed from 1-5 p.m.

Teen Fest Volunteers are needed from 5-7 p.m.

Fourth on the Plateau – Saturday, July 4, 5-11 p.m. at City Hall.

The city’s largest event – join 15,000 community members to watch the show.

Needed now are volunteer leads to help recruit and supervise volunteers.

This requires planning meeting attendance on June 23, and the Volunteer Orientation on June 29.

All meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.

We need to fill other volunteer roles also, to ensure the smooth running of this great event.

Weekly Concerts – at Pine Lake Park, every Thursday from July 9 to August 27, 5:30–8:30 p.m.

Sign up for a single week, or the entire concert.

Volunteers help with set up and take down and help support the band, staff and vendors during the concert.

City’s 10th Birthday Party – Saturday August 29, 10-3 p.m. at City Hall.

Celebrate this onetime event in Sammamish.

Volunteers needed for Parade Support, set up and clean up, and general duties during the carnival and day of festivities.
