Sammamish is searching for volunteers to mark the city’s storm drains.

The project alerts citizens of the connection between their yards and nearby waterways. Residents are warned of the dangers of misusing storm drains as garbage disposals by the following message, which is displayed next to the storm drain in their streets: “Only Rain Down the Drain.”
