The National Weather Service is hosting a training session for new or veteran “weather spotters” – including interested citizens, amateur radio operators, CERT volunteers, law enforcement, and fire, transportation and public works staff – on how to look for and report significant event-driven weather events. The training includes video demonstrations and discussion.
The training is from 6:30 – 9 p.m. Nov. 16 at the South Bellevue Community Center, 14590 SE Newport Way, 98009.
The maximum attendance is 70 people – it’s first come, first served.
