August 22
FEISTY PHONE: A black iPhone with a cat case was reported missing on the 1000 block of 235th Place Northeast. The owner had left it on the roof of his car.
August 23
OBVIOUSLY IT WAS COLD: Someone turned in a cellphone found under a blanket that had been laid out on a property on the 3900 block of 219th Avenue Southeast.
OH DEER: An officer from the Sammamish Police Department euthanized a deer on the 1600 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast.
August 24
JUST CHILLIN’: Someone found a white iPhone 6 on a park bench in Beaver Lake Park off of 244th Avenue Southeast.
MENTAL COMPLAINTS: Someone who caused property damage with a hammer to residential property on the 1300 block of 205th Avenue Northeast was transported to the hospital due to the mental episode.
August 25
RANSACKED: A resident on the 3000 block of 245th Avenue Southeast reported someone ransacked their vehicle, which was possibly left unlocked, and stole their wallet.
August 26
BIKE FOUND: Someone turned over a children-sized bicycle found in the bushes on the 2500 block of 238th Court Northeast.
SHOTGUN SHELLS: Someone turned in shotgun shells to the Sammamish Police Department for disposal.
August 27
ROCK: Someone pulled back the car’s cover to smash the driver’s side of the windshield with a large rock on the 3500 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway.
STRIP CLUB: A wife was booked into King County Jail for assault in the fourth degree after she slapped her husband for going to a strip club on a business trip. She had locked her husband out of the house, which prompted him to call the police.
