With a couple inches of snow in the forecast for Monday, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory in Issaquah and all of the Seattle area.
While Issaquah missed the snow Sunday night, Monday promises 1-2 inches before 4 p.m. with a high of 30 degrees.
The temperatures are expected to warm up to the low-40s Thanksgiving Day, but highs will stay in the mid-to-low 30s until then.
In addition to snow Monday night, wind is expected to pick up to about 16 to 18 mph.
A winter weather advisory means that winter weather will likely cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility, and use caution while driving.
When you do drive, carry warm clothes in case of travel delays.
