Zeeks Pizza in Issaquah Highlands will host the ‘Raise the Dough’ event for Seattle Children’s Hospital on Monday, June 16. The event is organized by the hospital’s Hope on the Hill Guild, which also will receive a portion of sales from Ben & Jerry’s, also in the Issaquah Highlands. The event will take place from 3:30-10 p.m.
Twenty percent of the day’s sales — including dine-in, take-out and delivery — will be donated to Children’s uncompensated care program, allowing all children to receive medical treatment, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Last year, with the help of organizations such as Hope on the Hill Guild, Seattle Children’s provided over $103 million in uncompensated care to families in need.
Mark Mullet, owner of both Zeeks and Ben and Jerry’s, has been a partner for the event for the past three years.
“Seattle Children’s saved my life,” Mullet said.
At 18 months old, Mullet suffered third-degree burns when reaching for a pot of boiling water. He spent three months healing at Seattle Children’s Hospital and attributes his recovery to the excellent medical care he received there.
Zeeks will accept pre-orders online at or by calling 425-893-TOGO.
