May 13, 1964 – January 26, 2018

Allan was born in Seattle, the second of four sons of Lee Morton and Rosemarie Dailey. He was raised and educated in the Lynnwood area and completed chef training at the Stouffer Madison Culinary Development Program. He worked at several Seattle area restaurants throughout his career. In 1993, he began a profession as a cook/steward aboard fishing boats in Alaska, maintaining a home in Issaquah between seasons. Allan passed away in Seattle at Harborview Medical Center on January 26, 2018.

Allan is survived by his father, Lee Morton, brothers Michael (Nadine), Douglas (Claudia), Charles (Shelby), and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemarie Michaels. Allan’s remains will be spread at sea in Alaska. Our sincere thank you to Blue North Fisheries for their help.
