Robert H. Yerbury Jr. was born on July 4th in Waltham, MA. to Robert H Yerbury and Frances Edith Yerbury.

As the son of a US Navy officer he moved frequently while attending school in the Azores, San Diego, CA and finally settling in the northwest, graduated from Mercer Island High School. He began college at VMI but graduated from the University of Missouri in 1977. Later in 1983 he completed a Master’s degree from City University.

Bob was a life member of Masonic Lodge #258 (the Lakeside Lodge) and the Army and Navy Club in Washington DC. He loved skiing, scuba diving, and anything Charles Dickens, particularly, “A Christmas Carol”.

Robert passed away August 20, 2017 in Issaquah, WA. He is survived by his beloved mother and sister Phebe Ann Morgan and her husband Bill of Sarasota, Florida.

A Funeral Mass was held at Mary, Queen of Peace and his final interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, IL. Friends may sign the family’s online guestbook at www.flintofts.com.
