I would like to express to you why I feel that Paul Graves is the man that I would like representing my family and me as State Representative for the 5th Legislative District.
I met Paul early in the election season. His calm demeanor, big smile, and bright eyes drew my attention to him before I knew who he was. I was sitting in on a Precinct Committee officer meeting for the 5th Legislative District. Paul began his introduction telling us about growing up in Maple Valley and about his family. He told us about his education and working as an attorney in Seattle. His passion is working pro bono for foster children in Washington. Protecting their rights and making sure they receive everything that they need in legal terms is what he really loves doing. He carries such a positive attitude towards people, life, and his dreams of helping others.
I have heard Paul speak many times since that first time. There has not been one instance that I have heard him speak negatively of his opponent, Darcy Burner. He speaks about his goals of getting funding for our children’s educations. His plans of working with both sides of the aisle in fixing our transportation problems and my biggest positive about Paul is that he opposes a state income tax for Washington.
I hope that others will have an opportunity to meet Paul Graves in the near future. They will not forget his wholehearted, honest approach to the issues that are important to our community.
His integrity and his positive outlook in his campaign are why I am supporting Paul Graves to be our state representative for the 5th District.
I hope that my words may help anyone that has been undecided up until now to make the decision of whom to choose. Paul Graves will get my vote.
