Eastside grapplers will compete at the Mat Classic
Eastlake Wolves wrestlers who will compete in the Mat Classic state wrestling tournament on Feb. 19 and Feb. 20 include William Galarpe (132), Noah Morse (182), Eric Plummer (220) and Zohdi Cooperrider-Young (105). Issaquah athletes advancing to the state tournament included Stevie Solusod (126), Gunner Starren (138), Addie Mejia (115), Kacie Moorehouse (170) and Kaleb Solusod (145). Eastside Catholic’s Nicholes Reeves (152), Duncan Heger (160) and Skyline’s Scott Huff (132) also will compete at the Mat Classic.

Spartans defeat Wildcats in loser-out contest
The Skyline Spartans kept their 2015-16 season alive with a 67-61 win against the Mount Si Wildcats in a KingCo playoffs loser-out game on Feb. 12. Skyline (9-12) faced the Redmond Mustangs in a loser-out game in the consolation round. As of press time, results of this contest were unavailable.

Eastlake to play in KingCo title game
The Eastlake Wolves defeated the Inglemoor Vikings 53-45 in the KingCo 4A semifinals on Feb. 13. Eastlake (16-6) will face the Bothell Cougars in the Class 4A KingCo title game on Feb. 18.
Issaquah conquers Redmond Mustangs
The Issaquah Eagles earned a 36-29 victory against the Redmond Mustangs in a loser-out KingCo playoff game on Feb. 13. The Eagles (11-8) faced the Inglemoor Vikings in a loser-out playoff contest in the consolation round. As of press time, results of this contest were unavailable.
