FirstSwing Foundation to host a baseball/softball camp in Bellevue region

The FirstSwing Foundation is hosting its 12th annual Bellevue baseball/softball camp from Aug. 15 through Aug. 19 at the Clyde Hill School Fields in Bellevue. The camp will be for players between the ages of 4 and 13 years old.

FALL SPORTS

Overlake to offer sports physicals

The fall sports seasons is right around the corner for athletes across the Eastside region. Overlake Urgent Care Medical Clinics will offer sports physicals at $40 per person in anticipation for the fall season.

The physicals will be occurring on a walk-in basis, six to seven days a week at clinics located in Downtown Bellevue, Issaquah, Redmond and a brand new location in the Lake Hills neighborhood of Bellevue. The physicals became available to the general public on Aug. 8.

Fall sports are right around the corner on the Eastside

The 2016 high school sports season has nearly arrived. High School football teams will conduct their first day of practice  n Aug. 17. Volleyball, soccer, cross country, golf, girls swimming and boys tennis teams will kick off their first practices of the season on Aug. 22.

GOLF

Skyhawks golf camp will take place at Memorial Park

Skyhawks Golf will conduct a beginning golf camp from 9 a.m. to  noon from Aug. 15 through Aug. 19 at Memorial Park in Issaquah.

The camp is for golfers between five to nine years of age. The cost is $129 dollars per golfer.
