Bothell escapes Issaquah, Eastlake comeback trips Ballard | Prep basketball scoreboard

Zach Lavine led the Cougars to the win against a game Issaquah team while coach Brian Dailey's Wolves put the comeback on against Ballard.

Bothell 67 Issaquah 64

The top-ranked Cougars survived a late charge from Issaquah and got a game high 35 points from Zach Lavine in the 67-64 win.

Sophomore guard Ty Gibson put in 18 for the Eagles and Brian Watson added 16 more.

Issaquah made it a one possession game in the final minute, but a Lavine free throw and a pair of misses at the buzzer allowed Bothell to escape with the win.

Eastlake 57 Ballard 54

Mason Pierzchalski scored a team high 14 points and Brandon Lester put in 12 more as Eastlake erased an early 10 point deficit to leave with the three point win over Ballard.

The Beavers took control in the first quarter, but saw their lead whittled away before the Wolves took a 15-6 advantage in the final period.

Woodinville 55 Skyline 70

Coach Maui Borden got 17 points from Cedric Cooper and 14 more from Blake O’Brien in the lopsided win over visiting Woodinville.

O’Brien connected on six of his nine shots from the floor and also grabbed eight rebounds in the win.

Eastside Catholic 78 Lakeside 81 (OT)

Austin Soukup and Mandrell Worthy scored 18 each for the Crusaders, but it wasn’t enough in the overtime loss to the Lions.
