Eastlake grabbed second place at Wednesday’s SeaKing 4A District golf tournament at Snohomish Golf Course, and advanced three golfers to the state tournament.
The Wolves finished with 139 team points, only behind Redmond (181), which won its sixth consecutive district team championship.
After tying Redmond’s Kara Zitzman for KingCo medalist honors a day earlier, Eastlake sophomre Dana Mydland grabbed third place with a two-day total of 79-84–163.
Zitzman ended up winning the district title with a 79-72–151.
The top 13 golfers advanced through to the 4A state tournament, which takes place May 27-28 at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.
Eastlake junior Emmie Schwartz finished in sixth place with a 87-88–175 and freshman teammate Megan Wotherspoon finished in ninth with a 89-91–180.
Skyline, which finished fifth as a team (60.5), advanced two golfers to state. Senior Chelsea Guenette finished in 12th place with a 90-91–181 and junior Emily Baldwin finished in 13th with a 90-93–183.
Issaquah finished in seventh place with 23 team points. Katherine Yoon shot a team-best 92-100–192, taking 25th place.
