Eagles conquer Wolves

The Issaquah Eagles girls soccer team registered a 1-0 victory against the Eastlake Wolves in a Class 4A KingCo showdown between rivals Oct. 15 in Sammamish. Issaquah’s Claudia Longo scored the lone goal of the game. The Eagles improved their overall record to 10-0-2 with the win while Eastlake dropped to 9-2-3 with the loss.

Spartans soar past Cougars

Cameron Tingley and Alexa Kirton each scored a goal in Skyline’s 2-1 win against the Bothell Cougars on Oct 15. Skyline senior Gabby Hart had an assist as well. The Spartans improved their overall record to 7-2-3 with the victory.

Spartans get back on track

After suffering a heartbreaking loss to Graham-Kapowsin, the Skyline Spartans got back on track cruising to a 56-25 win against the Bothell Cougars on Oct. 15 in Bothell. Skyline (6-1) will host the Inglemoor Vikings at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23 in a Class 4A KingCo league matchup in Sammamish.

Eagles deliver victory against Wildcats

For the second straight week the Issaquah Eagles were victorious on the gridiron. The Eagles earned a 29-10 win against the Mount Si Wildcats on Oct. 16 at Issaquah High School. The Eagles (4-3) will face the Woodinville Falcons at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23 in Woodinville.

Wolves lose second contest in a row

The Woodinville Falcons defeated the Eastlake Wolves 27-21 in a contest featuring evenly matched teams on Oct. 16 in Sammamish. The Wolves (4-3) will face the Redmond Mustangs in a Class 4A KingCo contest at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23 in Redmond.
