Eagles wrestling team wins opener against Woodinville

The Issaquah Eagles cruised to a 70-12 win against the Woodinville Falcons in a Class 4A KingCo wrestling match on Dec. 8. The Eagles (1-0) will face the Newport Knights at 7 p.m. on Dec. 15 at Newport High School in Factoria.

Ballard earns victory against Eastside Catholic

The Ballard Beavers registered a 47-36 win against the Eastside Catholic Crusaders on Dec. 9. Eastside Catholic (0-3) will face the Rainier Beach Vikings at 7 p.m. on Dec. 16 at Rainier Beach High School in Seattle.

Abes defeat Crusaders in non-league showdown

The Lincoln Abes nabbed a 58-50 win against the Eastside Catholic Crusaders on Dec. 10. The Crusaders (3-2) will face the Rainier Beach Vikings at 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 16 at Rainier Beach High School in Seattle.

Eastlake wins nail-biter contest against Mercer Island

The Eastlake Wolves grinded out a 56-54 victory against the Mercer Island Islanders on Dec. 10 in a non-league contest. Eastlake (2-1) will host the Newport Knights in a Class 4A KingCo matchup at 8 p.m. on Dec. 16 at Newport High School in Factoria.

Spartans conquer Everett in non-league contest

The Skyline Spartans registered a 54-50 win against Everett on Dec. 10. Skyline (2-2) will host the Issaquah Eagles at 8 p.m. on Dec. 16 at Skyline High School in Sammamish.
