Chris O’Daugherty, who finished his first year as the head coach of the Eastlake boys lacrosse team in 2013, was one of only 16 boys coaches from around the country leading a squad at the Champion All-American Showcase tournament recently.

The defensemen for the Washington Stealth of the National Lacrosse League and prep coach in Sammamish was nominated for the honor by a local US Lacrosse official and was the only coach from the state to garner the honor.

The tournament is hosted at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. and is part of the Champion ESPN Games.
