The Eagles held a 59-53 lead with 1:38 left in the game, before the Wolves rallied to tie the game at the end of regulation, 60-60.
Four Eastlake players scored in double figures, led by Caliegh McCabe’s 13 points. Abby Carlson and Kendra Morrison scored 11 apiece and Lauren Files scored 10.
Issaquah’s Mackenzie Wieburg scored a game-high 19 points, followed by Mandie Hill’s 12.
Eastlake improved to 4-0 in league and 4-2 overall. Issaquah dropped to 1-2 in league and 5-3 overall.
Fast start lifts Skyline to win over Newport
Skyline outscored Newport 16-1 in the first quarter Friday, en route to a 47-32 victory.
Rachel Shim scored a game-high 15 points for the Spartans, while Megan Wiedeman added nine.
Skyline moved to 3-0 in league and 4-1 overall.

Eastlake surges past Issaquah
Eastlake used an all-around team effort to earn its first league victory Friday night, beating Issaquah 68-61.
Five Wolves scored in double-figures, led by Connor Perry’s 16 points. Brandon Lester scored 14, Michael Hwang had 13, Kyle Laubscher scored 12 and Eric Holmdahl had 10.
Issaquah received half its points from guard Nick Price, who scored a season-high 30.
Eastlake moved to 1-3 in league and 2-5 overall. Issaquah suffered its first loss, dropping to 2-1 in league and 5-1 overall.
Skyline uses second-half burst to beat Newport
Skyline recovered from a seven-point first-quarter deficit Friday to beat Newport 59-51.
Will Parker scored 25 points to lead the Spartans to the victory. Hunter Cikatz added nine.
Skyline moved to 2-0 in league and 4-0 overall.
