Eastlake had three golfers finish in the top 10 at Tuesday’s KingCo 4A medalist tournament at Snohomish Golf Course, placing second overall.
The Wolves shot a combined 379, finishing 13 strokes behind tournament champion Redmond (366).
Eastlake’s Li Wang finished in fifth place with a 1-over par, 73. Teammate Evan Alston finished in a tie for sixth with a 2-over par, 74, while Spencer Weiss finished in a three-way tie for ninth with a 3-over par, 75.
Redmond’s Charlie Mroz won the league championship with a 3-under par, 69.
Skyline finished fourth as a team, shooting a combined 385 — just one stroke behind third-place Woodinville (384).
Spartan freshman Brian Mogg finished in a tie for second place with Redmond’s Cole Helgeson, shooting a 1-under, par 71.
Issaquah finished sixth of 11 teams, shooting a combined 404. The KingCo 4A golfers continue tournament play today in the 4A District 2 tournament at Snohomish Golf Course.

Skyline earns 10th shutout
Skyline earned its 10th shutout of the season Tuesday night, scoring four second-half goals to beat Garfield 4-0.
Michelle Bretl put the Spartans on the board in the 42nd minute with her first of two goals. Rachel Shim knocked in another score in the 48th minute. Bretl scored again in the 69th minute, while Nicole Candioglos punched in another goal in the 79th minute.
Skyline improved to 6-0 in league and 11-0 overall with the victory. The Spartans host Plateau rival Easatlake at 7:30 p.m., Thursday.
Eastlake hands Issaquah first league loss
Jaclyn Softli added on to her league-leading goal total Tuesday night, knocking in two scores as the Wolves defeated Issaquah 3-0.
Softli, who now leads the KingCo 4A with 15 goals, put the Wolves on the board in the 29th minute off an assist from Austin Boyce.
Ann Hein gave Eastlake a two-goal cushion just two minutes later, scoring off an assist from Julia Bennett. Softli knocked in an unassisted insurance goal in the 75th minute, helping the Wolves improve to 5-0-1 in league and and 7-4-1 overall.
Issaquah dropped to 6-1 in league and 10-2 overall.
Eastside Catholic nets second league win
Eastside Catholic earned its second Metro victory Tuesday night, beating Bainbridge 1-0.
Kristin Standish knocked in a goal in the final minute of the first half, scoring off an assist from Molly Callans.
The Crusaders improved to 2-3-2 in league and 4-4-3 overall with the victory.

Eastside Catholic downs Holy Names in five games
Eastside Catholic assured itself a share of the Metro title Tuesday night, beating Holy Names in five games — 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 25-22, 15-4.
Cami Silverman led the Crusaders with 22 kills and 13 digs, followed by Kameron McLain’s 19 kills and 11 digs. Setter Emilee Derus had 27 assists, followed by Hannah Christie’s 16 and Jordan Gates’ 13.
Eastside Catholic improved to 10-1 in league and 12-2 overall. The Crusaders face Seattle Prep (8-2, 12-2) Thursday in Sammamish for the regular-season finale.
