Central Valley led for nearly the entire game and left the Tacoma Dome with a 62-48 win over Eastlake in the 4A girls basketball state tournament on Thursday morning.

The Lady Wolves trailed by four at the end of the first quarter before taking a brief lead in the second, but were unable to slow the Bears out of the gate in a 16-7 third quarter that proved too much to overcome.

Eastlake will face Jackson, which lost to Mount Rainier in another quarterfinal, in a loser-out game on Friday, Mar. 2 again at 9 a.m. Central Valley and Mount Rainier will play for a spot in the championship game. The Lady Wolves can still finish as high as fourth with a pair of wins.
