Eastside Catholic captures academic state championship for spring season

The Eastside Catholic Crusaders baseball squad, who compiled a 21-4 overall record during the 2015 season, captured the Class 3A boys baseball academic state championship for the spring season.

The Crusaders, who have 16 players on its varsity roster, earned a team grade point average of 3.505.
