EC, Issaquah girls headed to playoffs | Prep sports news

The boys season is still underway, but the girls are prepping for the playoffs on the lacrosse field.

Eastside Catholic and Issaquah are headed to the playoffs in Division I girls lacrosse after finishing second and third respectively in the Snoqualmie Conference.

EC (8-3-1, 4-2) dropped its final game of the regular season, 11-10 to Snohomish, but outlasted Issaquah 10-9 earlier in the week to cap a run of eight straight conference wins.

It will be a rematch for the Crusaders in the first round of the playoffs, when they host that same Snohomish squad on Tuesday.

Issaquah (6-6, 4-2) will enter the tournament with far less momentum after dropping its final four games of the regular season, picking up its last win over Forest Ridge more than a week ago.

ISD will travel to Lakeside in the first round of the playoffs at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Lake Sammamish finished league play unbeaten at 6-0 and will take its 11-1 record into the playoffs as the top seed.
