Eastlake used a big second half Friday night to knock off KingCo Crest leader Redmond, 57-38.

Up 20-19 at halftime, the Wolves used a 15-4 run in the third quarter to pull away for good.

Conner Iraloa led Eastlake with 11 points, while Abdu Elkugia and Brandon Lester scored 10 apiece.

The win improved the Wolves to 4-5 in league and 7-8 overall, keeping them in position for the fourth and final playoff spot in the KingCo Crest.

Eastlake faces Roosevelt at 8 p.m., tonight in Seattle.

Eastside Catholic crushes Ingraham

Behind Joey Schreiber’s 28 points, Eastside Catholic cruised to a 70-56 victory Friday night in Sammamish.

The Crusaders led 35-21 at halftime and never looked back.

Skyler White added 10 points and Hunter Clements scored eight as Eastside improved to 3-8 in league and 5-10 overall.

The Crusaders are scheduled to host West Seattle next at 4 p.m., Tuesday.

Eastlake blasts rival Redmond

Eastlake wasted no time jumping on rival Redmond Friday night, running away to a 56-32 home victory.

The Wolves led 24-8 after the first quarter and 36-16 at halftime.

Caliegh McCabe led nine Eastlake scorers with 14 points. Kendra Morrison and Bella Zennan added eight apiece.

The Wolves improved to 7-2 in league and 13-2 overall. They travel to Roosevelt tonight to face the Roughriders in Seattle.

Issaquah stays flawless in league play

Issaquah remained undefeated in league play on Friday, beating Newport 48-35 at IHS.

The Eagles put the Knights away in the third quarter, outscoring them 11-2 for a 37-20 lead.

Maddey Pflaumer led Issaquah with 14 points. Quincey Gibson and Sabrina Norton added nine apiece.

The Eagles moved to 9-0 in league and 11-4 overall.

Issaquah travels to Seattle today at 4:30 p.m. to face Ballard.

Eastside Catholic rolls over Ingraham

Michaela O’Rourke led Eastside Catholic to a 64-38 victory over Ingraham Friday night, scoring a season-high 31 points.

The Crusaders left little doubt, taking a 15-2 lead after the first quarter and 38-18 at halftime.

Colleen Nuss added nine points for Eastside and Shannon Graves scored five.

The Crusaders improved to 4-8 in league and 4-12 overall. They face West Seattle next at 6 p.m., on Tuesday.
