Issaquah 12 Eastside Catholic 11

Issaquah trailed by three goals with only minutes remaining in its match with Eastside Catholic, but four straight goals capped by a game-winner from Tristana Leist with only 34 seconds to go gave the Eagles the win.

Issaquah will face Bainbridge Wednesday while the Crusaders will meet Graham-Kapowsin at Bethel High School, also on Wednesday.

The Wolverines dominated in the first match of the season and will next meet Evergreen on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at home.

Skyline plated its only run of the game just as the weather became unbearable and ended the game in the fifth inning.

Conner Reinerseten, Connor Gilchrist and Matt Sinatro each had hits for the Spartans and starting pitcher Nick Kassuba took the loss, surrendering three runs (two earned) and a pair of walks in three innings.
