Taylor Wyman rushed for three touchdowns, kicked five extra-points and added a field goal Friday night as Issaquah defeated Woodinville 38-7 in a loser-out KingCo 4A crossover game.
Wyman had three first-half TDs from 2, 5 and 16 yards. Braden Bouwman also connected with Eric Lemke for a 12-yard TD in the first half, as Issaquah jumped out to a 28-0 halftime lead.
Freshman running back Jack Gellatly added a touchdown, scoring from 24 yards out, before Wyman knocked in a 37-yard field goal.
Issaquah (7-2) will travel to Olympia (8-1) next week in a state-qualifying round matchup. A start time is to be determined. The game will either take place on Friday or Saturday.
Eastlake roughs up Roosvelt
Eastlake rolled over Roosevelt Friday night, 44-7.
The Wolves took a 30-0 halftime lead, before going up 44-0 in the third quarter.
Ethan Potter caught two touchdown passes from Keegan Kemp, scoring from 23 and 38 yards. Kemp also hit Colin Nelson for a 4-yard TD pass.
Kyle Lappano added a 70-yard run for a TD, while running backs Sam Gillis and Michael Harper joined in on the action.
Eastlake (7-2) will face Jackson (4-5) in a state-qualifying matchup next week on the road. A start time and date are to be determined.
