Issaquah used a big second inning Wednesday to boost itself to a 5-4 victory over rival Skyline.
The Eagles scored four of their runs in the inning to grab a 4-2 lead and never trail again.
Brielle Bray earned the win in the pitching circle and went 2-for-4 at the plate with two doubles.
Lindsey Nicholson was 3-for-3 with a double to lead the Spartans.
Issaquah improved to 5-4 overall, while Skyline dropped to 2-8 in league and 2-11 overall.

Eastlake drops final game of the season
Newport needed a win to lock up the top seed in the KingCo 4A on Wednesday and the Knights wasted little time getting it.
Newport scored eight runs over the first two innings, earning a 9-4 victory over Eastlake.
Keith Van Court led the Knights going 3-for-4 at the plate with a run scored.
Nick Cliford provided the big blow for Eastlake in the bottom of the second inning, hitting a three-run home run. Derek Papke finished the game 2-for-4 with a run scored for the Wolves.
Eastlake ended its season with a 1-13 league record and a 6-14 overall record.
Eastside Catholic tripped up on senior night
Eastside Catholic managed just four hits Wednesday night in its final home game of the regular season, falling 4-1 to Blanchet.
Max Engelbrekt struck out 13 Crusader batters and walked just one over seven innings.
The Braves scored all four of their runs in the first three innings off starter Alex Foley.
Eastside Catholic is scheduled to close the regular season today, May 5 against Lakeside in Seattle. The Crusaders are currently 13-3 in league and 15-4 overall. Blanchet is just one game behind at 12-4 in league with one regular-season game remaining.
The Metro tournament begins Monday, May 9.

Issaquah outshoots Skyline in final regular-season match
Issaquah’s Lauren Merdinyan shot a 6-over par, 42 Wednesday afternoon to lead Issaquah to a 265-292 victory over Skyline at the Plateau Club.
At Plateau Club (par 36)
Elin Skaardal finished second for the Eagles with a 14-over par, 50, while the Spartans were led by Layla Hiramoto’s 51. Teammate Bryalynn Vowels was fourth with a 55, while Issaquah’s Morgan Young finished fifth with a 56.
The KingCo 4A tournament is up next. Golfers from the 11 KingCo schools will tee off t 8 a.m., Wednesday, May 11 at Mount Si Golf Course.
