Two Issaquah players tied for medalist honors Monday afternoon at Snoqualmie Falls Golf Course as the Eagles edged Newport 190-200.

Weston Mui and Bryan Jung tied the Knights’ Kevin Zmao for the top spot with 1 over par, 37s.

Issaquah’s Aaron Tham was fourth with a 2 over par, 38.

Eastside Catholic volleyball rallies past Holy Names

Eastside Catholic earned a key Metro League volleyball victory Monday night, beating Holy Names in five games: 23-25, 25-19, 25-21, 22-25, 15-2.

Kameron Mclain had a season-best 27 kills and 16 digs to lead the Crusaders. Hannah Christie had 56 assists, 13 kills and 13 digs while Nicole Boswell had a team-high 22 digs.

Eastside Catholic improved to 4-0 in league and 6-0 overall with the victory.
