Issaquah finished fifth of 11 teams Saturday at the KingCo 4A meet with 160.2 points — narrowly behind Ballard’s 160.85.

Senior Olivia Goree tied Newport’s Malie Fujii in the all-around with competition with a score of 35.25. Newport’s Kristine Wong won all-around with a score of 37.85.

Issaquah’s A.J. Bowers placed ninth overall in all-around with a 33.9. She was third in the vault with a score of 9.3.

Eastlake finished ninth as a team with 131.25 points and Skyline was 10th with 126.625.

Newport won the meet with 174.95 points.

The 4A District 2 meet takes place this Saturday at Sammamish High School in Bellevue.
