Issaquah finished second as a team Wednesday afternoon in the Sea-King District golf tournament at Snohomish Golf Course.
The Eagles earned 43 team points, finishing only behind Woodinville (66.5). Skyline grabbed third place with 36 points and Eastlake was fourth with 30.
The top 12 finishers earned berths to the 4A state tournament, May 27-28 at Canyon Lakes Golf Course in Kennewick.
Issaquah golfers Kevin Moon and Brendan Jung finished fourth and fifth, respectively. Moon shot a two-day total of 79-76-155, shooting 11 over par, 144. Jung shot a two-day total of 77-78-155.
Skyline advanced three golfers on to the state tournament. Nathan Stephenson finished sixth overall with a 81-75-156. Darius Lalier was ninth at 76-81-157, and Jordan Windsor improved 10 strokes from the first day to take tenth with a 84-74-158.
Eastlake freshman Li Wang finished second overall in the Sea-King tournament. He shot a two-day total of 74-72-146, finishing at 2 over par, 144. Only Woodinville’s Jarrett Foote (71-68-139) did better.
