Issaquah kept its KingCo 4A record flawless Thursday night, beating Redmond 4-2 at home.
The Eagles got off to a fast start behind two first-half goals from junior forward Margaret Rauch, who now leads the KingCo 4A in points with seven goals and three assists. The scores came in the 2nd and 14th minutes off assists from Kelsey Ford and Dayna Talley.
Redmond scored in the 40th minute, but second-half goals from Lindsay Stoll and Alyssa Eglund secured the win for Issaquah. The Eagles moved to 4-0 in league and 7-1 overall.
Skyline powers past Roosevelt
Defending 4A champion Skyline remained flawless in league Thursday night after beating Roosevelt 4-1. The Spartans scored all four of their goals in the first half, receiving them from four different players. Emily Anderson put Skyline on the board in the 5th minute, scoring off an assist from Michelle Bretl. Maddie Christ, Madi Barney and Anna Morgan followed with scores. Morgan had two assists, on top of her score.
Skyline improved to 4-0 in KingCo and 8-1 overall.
Eastlake rallies from behind for win
Eastlake trailed Ballard by two goals in the first 10 minutes Thursday night, but battled back for a 4-2 victory over the Beavers.
Allie Beahan put the Wolves on the board in the 33rd minute off an assist from Emily Cushing. Kelly Morro knotted the score in the 43rd minute and Beahan put Eastlake up for good in the 71st minute with her second score. Jaclyn Softli added an insurance goal in the 79th minute.
The Wolves moved to 3-1 in league and 5-3-1 overall.
Crusaders drop second straight
Eastside Catholic dropped its second straight league contest Thursday night, falling 1-0 to Blanchet. The game remained tied 0-0 through the first 79 minutes before Madison McJannet punched in the winning score off an assist from Clare McKannay.
The Crusaders fell to 1-2 in Metro and 5-2-1 overall with the loss.
