Issaquah captured fourth place overall at last weekend’s KingCo League Swim Meet at Mary Wayte Pool on Mercer Island.
The Eagles earned 343 points, finishing only behind Mercer Island (586), Newport (407) and Juanita (379).
Stacy Maier led Issaquah finishing second in the 100 backstroke (1 minute, 2.02 seconds) and fourth in the 200 IM (2:13.41). She was also on the second-place 400 free relay team with Molly Herman, Helen Liu and Kayla Flatten; and third-place 200 medley relay with Flaten, Liu and Marit Borth.
Flatten finished third in the 500 freestyle (5:28.57), while Herman was fourth in the event (5:33.11). Liu finished third in the 100 back (1:02.34) and fifth in the 200 IM (2:15.93).
Skyline placed seventh overall in the event, minus All-American swimmer Andie Taylor. The Spartans earned 312 team points.
Diver Kelsey Kosenkranius claimed the KingCo title in diving, earning 344.50 points. Maria Volodkevich was fourth in the 200 freestyle in 1:59.27.
Eastlake finished 10th as a team with 239 points.
Kara Beauchamp claimed a KingCo title for the Wolves, winning the 500 freestyle in 5:17.20. Katie Kinnear earned second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.49. She finished just narrowly behind Newport’s Caroline Van Maren (1:08.32).
The KingCo 4A district meet takes place Nov. 6-7 at Juanita Pool in Kirkland.
