Issaquah won its ninth consecutive match on Monday night beating Redmond in three straight sets — 25-19, 25-14, 25-18.
Senior outside hitter Sarah Hanna led all scorers with 12 kills, 10 digs and three aces. Fellow senior Rachel Roeder added 10 kills, while senior setter Riley Sorenson added 30 assists and four aces.
The Eagles improved to 6-0 in league and 9-0 overall with the victory. Issaquah has five more regular-season matches remaining, starting with Wednesday’s match against Eastlake.
Skyline downs Bothell in four games
Halle Erdahl led Skyline to a four-game victory over Bothell Monday night, collecting 14 kills in a 21-25, 25-21, 25-23, 27-25 victory.
Kennedy Stoa collected an impressive 27 digs for the Spartans while Alyssa Workman had 44 assists and 13 digs. Mikayla Silva added 12 kills for Skyline, which improved to 2-4 in league and 5-5 overall. The Spartans are currently in eighth place and position for the final playoff spot with four more regular-season matches remaining.
Newport blanks Eastlake in three games
Newport defeated Eastlake in three games Monday — 25-23, 25-17, 25-20.
Ally Bagley led a large contingent of Knights players with kills, earning a team-high seven.
Eastlake was led by Anna Gorman’s match-high 11 kills. Sarah Pellicano had nine kills and 10 digs for the Wolves, who fell to 1-5 in league and 2-7 overall.
