Rachel Roeder and Sarah Hanna recorded 24 and 20 kills, respectively, Wednesday as Issaquah defeated rival Skyline in four games — 25-13, 25-17, 25-6, 25-20.
Setter Riley Sorenson had 48 assists for the Eagles, while Alexa Batiquin had a team-high 12 digs.
Skyline was led by Maddie Magee’s 11 kills. Andrea Chon added 14 digs for the Spartans.
Issaquah improved to 5-0 in league and 8-0 overall. Skyline dropped to 1-4 in league and 4-5 overall.

Issaquah boys, girls take second in three-team meet</b
The Issaquah cross country teams both finished second Wednesday afternoon in a three-team meet with Inglemoor and Garfield at Big Finn Hill Park in Kirkland.
The boys were just one point behind Garfield (35), earning 36 overall points.
Seniors Turner Wiley and Isaac Robinson finished second and third, respectively. Wiley completed the 3.1-mile course in 16 minutes, 52 seconds, with Robinson just four seconds behind (16:56). Inglemoor’s Colin O’Neil edged the Issaquah duo by just three seconds in 16:49. Eagle freshman Ryan Higgins had the next highest place in seventh (18:02).
The Issaquah girls finished with 43 team points — 14 behind Inglemoor’s 29.
Juniors Nicole Migotsky and Rachel Osgood were third and fourth, respectively. Migotsky completed the course in 21:07 and Osgood finished in 21:17.
