Senior Rachel Roeder recorded a career best 32 kills, along with 10 digs and four aces.

Senior setter Riley Sorenson had 60 assists, 15 digs and three aces, and Sarah Hanna had 13 kills for the Eagles.

Roosevelt was led by Sarah O’Connor’s 18 kills and match-high 27 digs.

Issaquah improved to 8-0 in league and 11-0 overall with the victory. The Eagles have two regular-season league matches remaining against Ballard on Wednesday, and undefeated Newport (8-0, 11-0) on the road Monday.

Eastlake sweeps aside Skyline

Eastlake handled Plateau rival Skyline on Monday night, winning in three games, 25-23, 25-19, 25-19.

Anna Gorman led the Wolves with seven kills, while Jacquie Burkhardt had six kills and four blocks.

Skyline was led by Mikayla Silva’s seven kills, while setter Madison Stoa had 21 assists.

Eastlake improved to 2-6 in league and 3-8 overall, while Skyline dropped to 2-6 in league and 5-7 overall.

Redmond edges Eastlake, Varas stays undefeated

Eastlake junior Vicente Varas kept his regular-season singles record perfect Monday afternoon, but the Wolves fell 4-3 to Redmond.

Varas, who moved to 10-0, beat Jeff Jou in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. Teammate Kevin Zhao defeated Scott Engleton, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6 (7-1), while No. 4 player Mitch Loofburrow beat R.C. Leonard 6-0, 6-0.

Redmond swept the doubles matches to take the overall victory.
